Jennifer Cohen

Jennifer Cohen has devoted her life to helping others. As a child, her passion for animals compelled her to speak out against animal suffering. At age 10, she started raising money and promoting fundraising events she organized to help animals. Word got to the local media and Jennifer was featured on multiple news channels and on the front page of the local paper. She quickly learned the power of the media. This led her to a career in public relations. After a successful PR career, she eventually segued to working as a professional fundraiser. She currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for HANDY, a nonprofit in Broward County that supports at-risk youth who have been abused and abandoned and are in the foster care system. She does this all while being a single mother to her twin teenage daughters, Sydney and Alexandria who are college Freshmen. Her story on how they survived the NICU, and her countless hours at the hospital is truly amazing. She has been an inspiration to so many moms around the world and continues to give back everyday in her community.
