Holiday Meal Delivery Driver | Oakland Park
For Family Volunteer Day, HandsOn Broward has partnered with the City of Oakland Park and Farm Share to deliver meals to homebound seniors. Volunteer drivers are needed to deliver meals in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday to homebound seniors in Oakland Park, FL. On Saturday, November 19, 2022 volunteer drivers will deliver pre-packaged meals with a smile while ensuring easier access to groceries as our City’s seniors celebrate the holiday. By participating in this volunteer opportunity, you will help provide over 100 homebound individuals with a holiday meal.
DIY Volunteer project: No-Sew Stockings | Broward County
The holidays are here! While the holiday season is a special time for most, many families in our local community are currently facing financial difficulties and the holidays can create additional stress. DIY volunteers will be creating no-sew stockings to fill with small toys and books to help spread the holiday cheer to young children within our Broward County community! These stockings will be distributed amongst local pre-schools and non-profit agencies serving young children.
