Sullivan Park in Deerfield Beach:

“The park is open from dawn to midnight, but please note that bikes, animals, and alcohol are not allowed. Fishing is permitted only in designated areas.”

Liberty Park in Parkland:

Liberty Park is a perfect setting for our citizens to host events and for parents to entertain their young children. The Park is seven acres and includes two beautiful playgrounds, a water play area, and one large pavilion.”

Waters Edge Park in Tamarac:

Children and families can enjoy a variety of playgrounds equipped with safe and engaging play structures. Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of basketball courts, soccer fields, and other recreational facilities.

Plantation Woods in Plantation:

“Plantation Woods is a 2.5-acre woods-themed park in the Historic District, featuring a whimsical entrance, three shaded playgrounds with tree houses and specialty swings, and four rentable pavilions. At its center is a water splash pad with cattails, ground sprays, and colorful loops for zero-depth fun.”

Miramar Pineland in Miramar:

“This ecologically and historically significant site combines the amenities of a regional park with the passive recreational opportunities of a nature center or natural area.”

T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park in Hollywood:

“Just minutes from busy I-95, this park named from a Seminole term for “meeting or gathering place” attracts walkers, picnickers, and athletes. It’s also home to a campground and Castaway Island, with two water playgrounds and a swim lagoon.”

Welleby Park in Sunrise:

“At nearly 29 acres, Welleby Park is one of the largest parks in the City – and one of its most popular. The dog-friendly park offers year-round recreational opportunities for Sunrise residents, and is the site of several special events throughout the year.”

Peace Mound Park in Weston:

“The Bike Fix It Station provides quick repairs for cyclists, and a new Communication Board is coming soon. Enjoy fishing from the dock or relax in the shaded playground nearby. Restroom facilities are available, and two shelters with seating are perfect for gatherings. A lighted walkway ensures safety and accessibility throughout the area, with ample parking in the city lot.”

Miramar Regional Park in Miramar:

“Miramar Regional Park is located one (1) mile west of I-75 on Miramar Parkway. This one hundred seventy-three (173) acre park consists of many exciting amenities to enjoy.”

Joseph Scavo Park in Hallandale Beach:

“Joseph Scavo Park is the first completed park of the City Wide Parks Master Plan. Opened on April 5, 2014, the renovated park features restrooms, playground, fitness trail, basketball courts, and two off-leash dog areas – one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Please read the off-leash dog area rules before your visit.”

“The athletic complex includes lighted fields, a full basketball court, open areas, and a pavilion with picnic tables. There’s also a playground for kids, restrooms for convenience, and a tennis court for recreational play.”
