The Local Octopus Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Broward County, Florida, dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship in local communities through education and preservation of local beaches and waterways. The foundation conducts various educational programs, community initiatives, and conservation efforts to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our marine environment and inspire individuals to become environmental stewards.

Call Time: 7:30AM Volunteer Groups / High School Volunteers

Event Time: 8:00AM – 12:00PM

8:00AM – 8:45AM OUTFIT Fitness Workout (Please Fill Out Waiver Before Class To Register)

9:00AM – 9:45AM OUTFIT Gentle Restorative Yoga

10:00AM – 12:00PM (Noon) @FTL_BeachCleanup Crew Meets! If this is your first cleanup, please fill out the waiver to participate. We sign for service hours too, please bring your service hour sheet, a pen, and a smile!

8:00AM – 8:45AM OUTFIT Fitness Workout

First come, first serve – this is a capped number event

Please bring proper fitness gear, water, and towel

9:00AM – 9:45AM Gentle Restorative Yoga

10:00AM – 12:00PM (Noon) @FTL_BeachCleanup Crew Meets!

Beach cleanup is directly on the sand closest to the resort.

Clean up buckets, gloves, sanitizer will be provided before hand.

We cover a .25 mile of beach every beach cleanup.

Most northern point is a public restroom, most southern point is B Ocean Resort.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided afterwards.

*UPDATED* We are a plastic free event, please bring your water canteen. We will have 5 gallon water containers with water and ice for everyone participating.
