Sensory Class for Toddlers

Come play with us using sensory materials with this fun Mommy and Me program for toddlers 2 and a half years old up to 4 years old. Using nature as our outdoor classroom, we create an outdoor learning experience following the child’s sense of wonder to introduce math, literacy, and motor skills by placing invitations to play around the park.

We use real hands-on experiences to allow your child to thrive, problem-solve, and gain confidence in his/her skills while giving your child a headstart when entering PRE-K

Days: Tuesdays

Location: Tree Tops Park – Open grass area Gumbo Limbo Shelter

time:  9:30am or 10:45 am

About the teachers:

About The Teacher:
Miss Carmen is a preschool teacher for over 37 years. Worked for 2 schools in Miami, overseas on a Military Base in Spain, and then in Broward County for 23 years. For the last 6 years, she has been homeschooling her granddaughters, with the majority of the learning occurring outdoors. Her method of teaching is eclectic with a hands-on approach. Providing various sensory play activities.

WHAT TO BRING: 

A snack – A snack is optional for storytime. We will finish the class by reading a story as the kids enjoy listening and having their snacks.
