A Wild Adventure At Everglades Holiday Park

If you live in South Florida or are visiting South Florida, I would suggest taking a trip over to Everglades Holiday Park in Broward County; it is located at 219 Griffin Road. It is home to the famous Gator Boys from the show Animal Planet. We were so happy that we decided to just get out and have a little fun this weekend!

Our Favorite Activities

The Airboat Ride: Take an airboat ride through the Florida Everglades. The tour will last about 60 minutes, where you will see one of nature’s wonders. Here different plants and animals live in one ecosystem. The tour is guided by knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining guides who will teach you about the ecosystem, animals, and history of the Florida Everglades, the river of grass. Keep your eyes open because you may see some gators out in the water!

Gator Boy Presentation: The kids loved this after the airboat ride. This presentation was on the gators in captivity and encounter other animals they have on the property. Don’t forget to take your photo holding a baby gator! The kids loved this part second to the airboat ride.

Everyone that knows me, they know I always have a ton of snacks packed! But, if you are hungry, check out the café; try the gator bites if you’re daring enough. You won’t be disappointed, especially if you do enjoy gator bites. They were fresh, lightly battered, and hot right out of the fryer. My kids enjoyed this part too! I think it’s safe to say that all the kids (ages 2,4,8) enjoyed and had a blast for the entire outing.
