This a pumpkin patch with free admission.  Join them on October 23rd for children’s games, hand painting, bounce obstacle course and treats. Bring your camera for that perfect pumpkin patch picture. Details coming soon!

For me, the best thing about this pumpkin patch is the days when they have pumpkin carving station. The pumpkin carving stations were wonderful.  As a mom, you were able to share the tradition of carving pumpkins with your kids without the mess at home.  They also had people and tools to assist with novices.  Let’s hope they do that again this year.

7.  Flamingo Road Nursery in Davie

Flamingo Road Nursery - Fall Festival

This is one of the most popular events in Broward with Free Admission.  Pay for the activities you enjoy such as the pumpkin patch, paint a pumpkin, paint a pot, the harvest market, hayrides and seasonal treats such as caramel apples, frozen apple cider and more.

Here is also a bonus tip.  They have some of the best BBQ in the area at Barnes Brothers BBQ.  They are only open on the weekends, most of the times there is a wait, and sometimes they run out of ribs on Sunday evening.  In my humble opinion, these ribs are so good, they are worth the wait.

8.  Trick or Treat Weekends at Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS)

If you want a little bit of STEM with your Halloween, this is the place to be in Broward County.  There will be spooktacular family friendly activities such as make and take treat or treat bags and chemistry demonstrations related to Halloween.   This event is free with museum admission.

The Kid On The Go
Zee was born and raised in Miami and attended the University of Florida. Then she spent about fifteen years up North; while building her family and expanding in her career, she always knew she wanted to connect more with the community. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children, ages 5 years old, 5, and 6. Yes, twins! Zee considers these moments that she spends hanging out with them a joy that will last until adulthood. She moved back to the Broward area about 2 years ago. She always had difficulty finding things to do with the kids, so she just decided to create a platform herself! When she launched “The Kid on the Go.” she intended to build a network to serve the community in which other moms would also have a place to find activities for the kids to do in their area. She believes that if we as moms can provide opportunities and activities to keep them busy, it will embrace their creativity. These options are provided so they can engage in positively spending their time. It provides resources in Broward County and South Florida locations where all the kids and their families could have fun together.
