UNICEF says 1 in 2 children suffer from anxiety and depression and most go undiagnosed or untreated due to accessibility and costs. New tools that provide support have been proven to be very successful. Gheorg (pronounced George), www.Gheorg.com is the high-performance mental health and wellness app is one such tool that has had proven success and is available 365/24/7 providing help for less than the cost of a streaming service for the whole family with a parent portal.
Gheorg (or Gheorg-e for those who prefer a female version) is the friendly robot app designed to help kids improve their emotional intelligence and mental wellbeing. The app was co-designed with +1000 kids in classrooms with educators, psychologists, and health professionals to ensure the best outcomes. Gheorg supports kids aged under 12 to build resilience and manage stress. The program features fun activities that incorporate the most up-to-date psychological science therapies:
Β· positive psychology for neuro-shaping balanced thinking,
Β· cognitive behavior therapy to help children understand the connections between thoughts, behaviors and emotions, and
Β· acceptance commitment therapy to help children understand that difficult emotions can be okay.
Through interactive daily check-ins, meditation, games, storytelling, and gratitude exercises, Gheorg empowers kids with emotional understanding, perspective, self-calming, and mental wellbeing. Designed to support kids with anxiety first, Gheorg is helpful to all children and parents through a user-friendly app and lovable characters that guide kids through exercises to improve resilience and emotional intelligence. The youths have a safe space in which to express themselves privately with a parent portal with real time monitoring. If all agree, a real time dashboard is provided to the caregiver, educator, guardian, or another appropriate party.
Gheorg is multi-lingual, culturally adjustable, and personalized per child. Any child can use Gheorg. It’s inclusive, accessible, preventative, and fun!
