Amy Palma is a Miami Makeup Artist, Mom and TV Journalist.
She is currently focused on wedding makeup, tv and video shoots and running her company, South Beach Makeup Studio, founded in 2004, featuring a roster of celebrity clients and servicing more than 2000 weddings in South Florida.
She is also a seasoned TV pro who worked the Miami News Entertainment Beat at WSVN's Deco Drive and Telemundo Network's FuZion and Keepin it Reel before freelancing for various networks, including E! Entertainment Television, FOX, The People's Court, ESPN, & NBC. Amy sashayed onto the local news scene working the dreaded overnight shift (1 am to 9 am), writing for the morning news at WSVN Channel 7. She moved up the ranks and two years later was promoted to Segment Producer at Deco Drive, where she produced stories in Miami, NY, and Los Angeles for five years. She moved on to NBC - Universal's Telemundo Network as Line Producer, Reporter, and Executive Producer. Since leaving Telemundo, she has contributed to several networks & programs, including E! Entertainment Television, The People's Court, Temptation Island FOX News, and ESPN Hollywood.
Amy has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and loves making everyone glam as a Television Makeup Artist. Her favorite production to date? Her two children. When she's not taking care of them or writing, her passion projects include helping shelter dogs find homes and renovating charming old houses.
Highlights of her TV tenure include pitching, coordinating, writing, and field-producing a week-long series behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week with WSVN-7 Anchor Belkys Nerey, and frequent traveling to Los Angeles and NY to interview movie stars and actors at movie press junkets.
