Dania Beach Earth Day Community Beach Clean-Up

This Earth Day, the City of Dania Beach will host a coastal clean-up on Monday, April 22, 2024. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with community volunteers from local schools, non-profits, neighborhoods, and businesses.
There will be free parking and volunteers will be issued a commemorative T-shirt and community service hours. There will also be fun contests, drawings for prizes, light bites and sweet treats, face painting, music and more.
Earth Day is every day in Dania Beach. Clean-up stations are located along the beach year-round where one can pick up a basket to collect trash found while enjoying the coastal environment.
Major sponsors of this year’s Dania Beach Earth Day Beach Clean-up are Avid IHG Hotel (Fort Lauderdale Airport – Cruise), Lucky Fish, Saltz Michelson Architects, The Splendid Circle & Splendid Alkaline, Waste Management, Dania Pointe, Quarterdeck, and Ulta Beauty.
Participating groups include Broward County Public Schools (Olsen Middle School and Dania Elementary), Broward County Solid Waste and Recycling, Lighthouse 4 Students, Dania Beach Lions Club, Scuba Stor, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Memorial Healthare System HEAL Program, and Trash Pirates.
