Join us for our Leadership Launch, which is Emerge Broward’s annual professional development event. Structured like a mini-conference, the event will feature a Keynote speaker as well as breakout sessions focused on the theme: Planning your Career Path as a Young Professional. Lunch will be provided. Additionally, during the event, professional headshots will be available to event participants by appointment (first come, first served – appointments will be available during event check-in).

This event is $10 for EB members and $50 for young professional aged (21-35) non-members. Non-members who register for the event will receive membership in Emerge Broward for a calendar year from the date of the Leadership Launch.
About your Keynote Speaker:
Roshell Fernandez is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the human capital arena, currently serving as the Market Manager for the South Florida Area at Randstad, the leading global HR solutions provider. Throughout her 11-year career with Randstad, Roshell has strategically navigated within the organization, showcasing her ability to develop herself, develop and grow teams, and establish a significant presence in South Florida.
Roshell Fernandez is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the human capital arena, currently serving as the Market Manager for the South Florida Area at Randstad, the leading global HR solutions provider. Throughout her 11-year career with Randstad, Roshell has strategically navigated within the organization, showcasing her ability to develop herself, develop and grow teams, and establish a significant presence in South Florida.
As a progressive leader, Roshell has not only excelled in her career at Randstad but has also ventured into entrepreneurship. She was the successful founder of a boutique HR firm, catering to clients across diverse sectors such as hospitality, manufacturing, finance, and accounting. Her experience also extends to having managed HR functions for a multi-state manufacturing firm, demonstrating her versatility and expertise in the field.
Passionate about community engagement and uniting people for meaningful causes, Roshell has actively contributed to various organizations. She has served on the board and committees for Emerge Broward, where she held roles as Identify Co-Chair and Connect Co-Chair, as well as Femfessionals, where she served as the Vice President of the Fort Lauderdale chapter. Roshell had also sat as an ex officio board member for Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc., contributing through Emerge Broward’s Board Engagement, and has volunteered for the SFMA (South Florida Manufacturers Association).
Roshell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. Proud of her Cuban and Ecuadorian Heritage, Roshell is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. In her leisure time, she enjoys quality moments with her family and her rescue dog. When not in Broward County, Roshell finds herself immersed in the sun and the ocean, spending weekends in Key Largo. Her dedication to personal and professional growth is evident, reflecting her intentional approach to continuous development.
