Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Girls Just wanna have fun When last did you have fun? Was it last weekend over dinner with friends? Or has it been so long that you can’t seem to remember? Bringing more fun into your life is going to help you manage stress and keep you sane, especially if you’ve got kids running around the house.

Here are three easy ways to bring more FUN into your daily life:

Dress up

girls just wanna have fun There are many psychological benefits to looking good. When you look good externally, you feel good internally. Whatever piece of clothing it is that sparks you up, wear it! So bring out your favorite pair of boots, or maybe it’s that dress that you’ve hidden away in your closet. Also, while you’re getting dressed up, put on your favorite music. Do you know that song that amps you up and brings out your inner goddess? Please put it on replay and feel your confidence rise with it. Now, don’t forget the lipstick to complete your look.

Self-Care

Self-care is an absolute must every day if you’re a mom. You can’t pour into other people’s cups if you’re running on 2%. Fill your cup first! You may need to do some investigating here because self-care can look different for everyone. For some, that may mean having just a cup of coffee in total silence without anyone bugging you, and for another person, it may be getting in a bit of exercise in the morning while the kids are still asleep. Make a list of ways to enjoy taking care of yourself and see what comes up. Commit to doing one thing from this list each day for the next month and see how your life begins to shift.

Make everything luxurious

Dress upI know you’re probably thinking, “huh?” but hear me out. It is all about taking the mundane and turning it into something extraordinary, magical, and a total experience. Let’s say you usually have breakfast at the table with your kids, but you’ve got a backyard. The next time you make breakfast, enjoy it outside in the backyard with the kids. You can get a blanket and spread it on the ground. Add some cute pillows, candles, flowers, or whatever you have on hand and jazz the space up. Do you get it?

We completely transformed the way you have breakfast with your kids. Now, you don’t have to do this every single day if it takes too much time. But try it out one day of the week and see how it goes.

I hope you find these tips helpful. I can’t wait to see you try them out!
